Exemplaire sur un flan très large, ovale, légèrement décentré au droit. Très beau portrait. Revers de style exceptionnel bien venu à la frappe avec une usure superficielle. Une jolie patine superficielle recouvre l’exemplaire avec des reflets dorés

(175-164 BC)
Antiochus IV was the youngest son of Antiochus III. He had been sent to Rome as a hostage after the Peace of Apamea. He fought the Egyptians, ravaged the Temple of Jerusalem and won several victories over Ptolemy VI Philometor (180-145 BC).
