正面的说明书 Aphrodite, drapée, assise à gauche, tenant une patère de la main droite au-dessus d’un autel paré et allumé, entouré d’une guirlande. Elle est couronnée par Éros, nu et ailé debout à gauche sur un cippe.

背面的说明书 Dionysos Pogon barbu, avec une couronne de vigne, à demi-nu, tenant un cep avec une grappe de raisin de la main droite et un thyrse long de la main gauche.

CILICIA - NAGIDOS
(4th century BC)
Nagidos was located on the Cilician coast about forty kilometers west of Célendéris. Founded by the Samians, it experienced significant economic development from the end of the 5th century BC. The protective gods of the city were Dionysos and Aphrodite, recalling the Greek origin of the city, without any oriental contribution at the start. Only Pharnabazes seems to have minted coins in Nagidos. The coinage stops at the time of the Macedonian conquest in 333 BC.
