BERRY - LORDSHIP OF DÉOLS (CHÂTEAUROUX) - RAOUL VII
(1160-1176)
The house of Déols appears at the beginning of the 11th century. Raoul VII succeeded Ebbes II (1141-1160). He died in 1176 without a male heir leaving a daughter, Denise, only 3 years old. Due to Denise's minority, Henry II Plantagenet was baillist of the seigneury from 1176 to 1188.
